Director of Nursing
Taylor's Pointe is looking for a qualified Director of Nursing (DON) to join our stellar facility! As DON you will be engaged with the Administrator to complete both short and long-term tasks. You will have the opportunity to lead the nursing department through a changing healthcare landscape. The Director of Nursing will be tasked with creating and sustaining a successful clinical team, complimented by multiple nurse managers. At Taylor's Pointe, the DON has the opportunity to interact with residents daily, while maintaining the facilities’ regulatory obligation to the Ohio Department of Health.
Our incumbent DON will be set up for success with an already stellar team around him/her. Specific qualifications include the following: desire to achieve success, the ability to delegate tasks to nurse managers, the ability to adapt as facility needs change, experience monitoring quality measures, providing planning/guidance to achieve departmental goals, and the ability to successfully lead a team. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of nursing management experience in long-term care as ADON or DON.
